Humble Beginnings

Our family joined the automotive industry in 1947 in Jersey City when Sam DiFeo opened his first car dealership. He started the company with one mission: “We don’t want to sell you a car. We want to sell you all your cars.”

Since then, we’ve been working hard to create lifelong partnerships with every NJ Chevrolet customer who walks through the door. We want our business to be the Home of the Satisfied Customer, and we do everything we can to turn that dream into a reality. In the 1960s and 1970s, brothers Sam and Joe DiFeo became the second generation of owners. The brothers worked hard to expand the business and opened dealerships in central and northern New Jersey, Florida, New York, and Connecticut.

In 1981, the brothers bought the dealership at 800 Main Street in Belmar, NJ. In 2004, the brothers were offered another opportunity to expand by buying the existing Chevrolet dealership on Sunset Avenue, which would become the first Seacoast Chevrolet.

Seacoast Chevrolet Today

SeaCoast is a family-owned and -operated business that has been serving the Ocean Township area for more than 20 years. Not only have we maintained several original staff members, but we’ve also maintained many of our loyal customers.

Today, we focus on the same basic ideals we had when we first opened our doors. We want to build relationships with every one of our customers, and we do that by providing excellent customer service every time.
